About Us
In 2023 longtime friends Jeff Mann and Jordan Saturen started practicing 80’s songs together for a high school reunion. Shortly thereafter they founded Trebled Souls and began booking gigs at local wineries, restaurants and other venues. 2024 brought the addition of Beth Lawrence and Chris “Birdman” McCullough to the group along with more opportunities to perform for an enthusiastic and growing local fanbase.
Finally in 2025 the band’s lineup was completed with the additions of Rafe Tejada-Ingram and Eric Getter. Each member of the group brings an impressive history of musical performance experience which makes for an exciting and energetic live show. With plans for many gigs in 2026, Trebled Souls is ready to make big things happen!
Band Members
Beth Lawrence (vocals/percussion) graduated with a degree in Vocal Performance from Portland State University in 2010. She has sung in operas, choruses, and recitals over the years. She then went on to earn a Masters in Education. Beth can be seen performing each day for her kindergarten class at Bellview Elementary. She is thrilled to be a part of Trebled Souls and expand her repertoire to include more jazz and American songbook music!
Jeff Mann (guitar/vocals) fronted the rock band Thrive in his home region of Toledo, Ohio in the mid-90s before moving to the West Coast. After many years away from music, he connected with Jordan, who helped him get up to speed to found Trebled Souls for their inaugural shows in 2023, playing guitar and adding vocals.
Jordan Saturen (keyboards/trumpet/vocals) played clarinet in the Ashland City Band for 14 years and sang in the Rogue World Ensemble for 5 years. He has been a part of a group that plays a semi-monthly musical Shabbat service for over 15 years. While living in Mexico for several years, he sang in a small chorus that performed at weddings and gave occasional concerts. There he also organized a group and put on a concert featuring a wide range of Jewish music with some Latin fusion. Yep that is a thing!
Jordan started practicing ‘80s songs with Jeff for a high school reunion, and then they formed the group Trebled Souls together in 2023.
Chris “Birdman” McCullough (guitar/vocals)
I was born the grandson of a coal miner’s daughter
No messin’ around, I’m Pittsburgh blue collar
Throw up your hands I want to hear you holler
I’m the leader of the pack cause I don’t foll’er
And I back up these words with my emotions
I kick it like this when I gets the notion
Don’t need no music to keep your butt in motion
I got it all covered like body lotion
No fussin’ no cussin’ no need to fight
Just lift up your head it’s gonna be alright
Cause the next time you see me my name will be in lights
Sayin, “It’s AfroYT In Da House 2Nite!”
Rafe Tejada-Ingram (bass/vocals) started learning classical piano at age 6 which commenced his life-long love of playing and performing music. Along the way he also picked up guitar and bass, the latter of which he is super stoked to play with the awesome musicians of Trebled Souls. As a member of the indie pop/rock band Turned Up Missing in the 2000s, Rafe played hundreds of shows while touring with his band all over the western United States. In addition to Trebled Souls, Rafe is also a part of the fiddle/folk rock family band “Opal & The Swallowtails” with his kids Opal and Ira, and his dad Miguel.
Ashland, OR native Eric Getter began playing drums in earnest when he realized high school band was the only way to rescue his abysmal GPA. After graduation, he earned a BA from Portland State University and an MFA from the California Institute of the Arts, while also accumulating a heroic amount of debt. Eric returned to Ashland in July 2025 after spending the previous nine years in Charleston, South Carolina, where he performed throughout the Lowcountry with his band, The Fat Bastards. A life-changing highlight of his time with “The Bastards” would have been opening for Queens of the Stone Age during the European leg of their 2023 tour, had they been invited.
